Classwork leading to the designation provides a solid background in green building methods, as well as the tools to reach consumers, from the organization leading the charge to provide market-driven green building solutions to the home building industry.
NCBI Accredited Builder
Accredited Builder designation is recognized statewide and identifies top professionals in the building industry. Accredited Builder graduates complete an intensive series of seventy-two hours of course work, during which they learn about the newest trends and technology in the building industry.

The Federation of the National Association of Home Builders (NAHB) exists to represent the home building industry by serving its members and affiliated state and local builders associations. Outer Banks Home Builders Association, a professional trade organization dedicated to informing, educating and promoting the members of the building industry. Our 450 members live and work in the communities they build on the Outer Banks and are committed to building better homes and better lives for their fellow citizens.

Metal Building Institute
The Metal Buildings Institute is a 501 c 3 Educational Institute as designated by the United States Internal Revenue Service. The Institute was founded on July 2, 2001 for the primary purpose of providing educational and training programs for metal building contractors and erectors.
The Institute’s Responsibility Statement –
The responsibility of the Metal Buildings Institute is to improve the quality of in place metal building construction by providing education and training programs to metal building contractors, erectors, and students in construction programs, for the direct benefit of specifiers, designers, and owners.
